-September Happenings-

*First breakfast of the season will take place at the Alton United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 8th from 7-9am.  All proceeds benefit church ministries.

 

*TIME CHANGE!  A reminder that our church service will return to the 11:00 time on Sunday, September 9th.  Speaking of September 9th

 

*Our adult study group will kick-off the season with a great new study called: “The Wesleyan Way: A Faith That Matters.”  This is a combination book/DVD study, and pulls the teachings of Wesley into 2018 in a special way.  Sure hope you can join us Sunday mornings at 9:45.

 

*Choir rehearsals will resume on Thursday evening, September 13th at 7pm.  Join-in for great fellowship, music and fun!

 

*United Methodist Woman will host a potluck and program on Wednesday, September 19th at 5pm.  Program features “Woman at the Well” with Jan Willette and Barb Smith; all are cordially invited.

 

*Our Church Conference with our district superintendent will take place on Sunday, September 30th. More details coming…

 

*Our “After School at 36 Oak” program will kick-in Tuesday afternoons beginning mid-late September, depending on when Asa Adams School hosts their open house (this is where we present the program to local families.)
