What’s Happening in February?
*We’re having a great time Sunday mornings at 9:45 with our study from “50 Women Every Christian Should Know.” Last week we learned about the inspiring lives of Corrie Ten Boom and Catherine Booth (co-founder of the Salvation Army.) This Sunday we will learn about the lives and witness of Mother Teresa and Fanny Crosby. All invited Sunday mornings at 9:45!
*Choir rehearsals will resume on Thursday, February 7th at 7pm.
*We continue to accept donations of gloves, mittens and socks; we will hand these items out (along with hot chocolate) at two locations in Bangor on Saturday, February 16th to those struggling with homelessness.
*We will prep, deliver and serve a meal at the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter on Sunday, February 17th. Your assistance is needed and appreciated!
*United Methodist Women are planning to meet on Wednesday, February 20th at 1pm.
*SPRC will meet Sunday, February 24th at noon (right after worship.)
*How about a Valentine gift? We are selling Valentine’s gifts in the fellowship hall to raise funds for Vacation Bible School, scheduled for the end of June. Our theme for VBS this year: “Polar Blast: Where Jesus’ Love Is Cool.” We will be building an igloo, so we are looking for donations of gallon milk or water jugs (washed, please!)
