Projects the Church is currently doing  for our community and beyond

For information on how you can be part of any of these or other mission projects, please contact the church office: 866-4605 (please leave message.)

  • Help prepare, deliver and serve a meal for the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter on one or more of the following dates: June 17th, August 19th.

  • In June we will accept $5 donations in honor/memory of father’s as we embrace Father’s Day.All funds will be used to purchase farming tools through UMCOR. In addition, our church family will be notified when opportunities to donate to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) arise; please pray for the ministry of this wonderful organization.

  • Our church family provides fuel oil, gas, food and medicines to people in need in our community through the pastor’s discretionary fund.Your financial donation makes this possible, and serves as a wonderful form of mission-ministry.

  • We will continue to accept donations for the Lela Family Home Orphanage in India; to learn more about our relationship with these wonderful people, see Pastor Steve or Kelli Mayfield.

  • On Sundays look for a “get-well, praying for you” card at the entrance of our fellowship hall to sign; this is a great way to let people know they are being thought of and prayed for as they recover and heal.

  • We collect gently used clothing and household items (see barrel just outside sanctuary door, and downstairs in hallway) to donate to Crossroads Ministries and the Orono Thrift Store.
