Outreach and Invitation
The purpose of our Ministry Circle, Outreach and Invitation is to create capacity and practices
for communicating and interpreting the ministries of Orono United Methodist Church to the larger community and for extending invitations
to join our faith community and cultivating new member participation. Outreach and Invitation also maintains an interactive
Orono United Methodist Church website, development and implement a public relations program including a “brand” identity and utilizing
the resources of Igniting Ministry, the national UMC media and welcoming initiative, create and monitor a comprehensive care-plan
for greeting, cultivating relationships, receiving, and incorporating new members.
